Amanda Quintero, Associate Vice Provost for Student Success and Community Engagement
Dr. Amanda Quintero, Associate Vice Provost for Student Success and Community Engagement, joined California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) in 2004. During her tenure at CSUCI, Dr. Quintero led the start-up and administration of the Research and Sponsored Programs office, Center for Community Engagement, and spearheaded efforts to help CSUCI achieve HSI status in 2010. A powerful advocate of educational opportunity for historically undeserved students, she has raised $26 million in external funding to lead institutional change initiatives that build capacity for increasing student success outcomes, promoting educational equity, and facilitating access to educational opportunity.
