Ken has spent 25 years at Adams State serving in many of those roles and 6 years as a residence hall director and Area Coordinator at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff Arizona.

 

On a personal note, Ken is a first generation student, has a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Adams State University and is grounded in a positive attitude philosophy where he strives to create a positive student experience for all students and staff. He believes that every interaction with a student is a “moment of truth” and can have a major impact on their college and global experiences.


Tricia Johnson, Vice President for Academic Affairs

Over the last two decades, Johnson has worked in education teaching, promoting, designing, and administering programs in secondary, postsecondary, and career and technical education. During her tenure, Johnson has served as a classroom teacher, community college department chair, research analyst, and marketing manager. She is committed to issues of social justice and removing barriers for adult learners. Johnson earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Denver, a Master of Education in Secondary Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Central Oklahoma.

 


Edward Bonahue, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs

He has presented on various aspects of Santa Fe’s student success programming for the American Associate of Community Colleges, the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD), and the annual Innovations conference of the League for Innovation in the Community College. He was a member of the inaugural class of Presidential Fellows selected by the Aspen Institute, and under his academic leadership, Santa Fe College won the 2015 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, recognizing superior performance in student learning, student outcomes, and equity.

 


Letitia Wall, Assistant Provost Winston-Salem State University

As the Associate Provost, she is currently a senior administrative officer serving as a key position to the management team in the Division of Academic Affairs. She provides fiscal guidance to the overall $42 million of divisional budgets of Academic Affairs in an administrative manner to support decisions that impact the instructional operations and strategic initiatives of the University. She leads many institutional strategic initiatives as well as the Office of Faculty Affairs.

Letitia is an at-large member of the Society of College and University Planning (SCUP) Southern Region Council and was a professional member of the Triad Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants where she served as chapter vice president and president. Letitia has served in various roles in her community, including the Winston-Salem chapter of The Links, Incorporated, the Diversity Board of Advisors at Campbell University School of Pharmacy, the Forsyth County Humane Society, and the Women’s Fund of Winston-Salem.

Letitia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, as well as a Master of Arts degree in Management and Leadership from Liberty University.
